Join CASA of Ellis County, Anchors and Arrows Foster Parent Group and The Avenue Church for a Candlelight Vigil on April 18, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. to honor abused, neglected and abandoned children during Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event will be held by the pond by The Avenue Church. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held under the awning at the entrance to the church. CASA of Ellis County trains volunteer advocates who are appointed by Judge Jim Chapman to serve children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. In addition to ensuring that children in foster care receive the developmental, education and physical services needed, our volunteers also make recommendations for safe and permanent homes.
